At the St. John Center for Womens Health, you will find a unique place designed to address the healthcare needs of women, from pre-adolescence through the golden years. Our family-friendly environment focuses on the needs of each woman as she moves through the many phases of her life.
St. John Medical Center made womens health a priority in 2007 with the opening of the St. John Center for Womens Health. A central reception area on the sixth floor of the Siegfried Tower now serves as a check-in for all womens services. Labor and delivery, newborn nursery, and post-partum rooms are a short airbridge walk from the reception area, womens pre-admission testing, womens surgery recovery area and the Breastfeeding Resource Center.
Services at the Center for Womens Health begin at birth. Beyond labor and delivery, the center is also home to one of the regions most advanced neonatal intensive care units, and our pediatric department and pediatric intensive care units are just a short elevator ride away.
Comfort is the cornerstone upon which the St. John Center for Womens health was built. Newly remodeled labor and delivery suites and post-partum recovery rooms share a warm dcor and home-like touches. And for the convenience of our patients and families, our beautiful reception and lobby area features a resource shop, cantina and childrens play area.
